Over priced, tiny portion.
The absolute worst place in the area.Do not go to this place. Music loud can't hear the person next to you. Took 30 min to get a soda. Food came out before appetizers. Food had no taste and was cold. Took forever to get food. Waitress was new and mixed up all of the orders. Ordered a chicken dish they were out of mushroom soup. Ordered a captain Morgan and coke they didn't have that I then ordered a sminoff and seven didn't have that either. Very bad experience. Do not eat here.
Excellent breakfast, latte and service. Beautiful decor and bar area. Live music Friday & Saturday nights.Very well priced too. Definitely worth checking out.
My brother birthday was today and he wanted authentic Puerto Rican food so we offered to get a catered meal. They refused to accept my coupon even though there was no expiration date.
Was excited for a PR restaurant in the area but disappointed each time. First and foremost, consistency is key! They seem to lack consistency which can happen when you have a high turnover rate for cooks. It seems as if the owners have focused their time and attention on decor and entertainment and not on the most important aspect of a restaurant which is consistently good, flavorful and fresh food. I've had meals that completely lacked flavor, rice that was very much undercooked rice (immediate loss of appetite), coffee mug with lipstick prints all around the rim and overcooked and dry meat. If you are not familiar with Puerto Rican food and how flavorful and delicious it usually is, you may be somewhat pleased by the experience but as a Puerto Rican myself, I can't give them anymore chances. I've gone several times because I believe it can take a while for a restaurant to get into it's groove and I believe in supporting local businesses, but I simply lost hope that Rustico will evolve into a truly good place to eat. I would strongly recommend a complete overhaul when it comes to the menu and kitchen operations and after being open for the time it has so far, I'm not sure that will happen (unfortunately).
And to top it off I literally just fed my 1 year old daughter under cooked chicken. Hopefully she will be fine, so help me god she gets sick I will pursue you guys to the fullest extent of the law
Courteous staff & great selection.. Along with one of the best cafe lattes ever! They brew it from their own select beans & it's truly amazing. Further, the cuisine is very authentic Latin quality. A great place for an excellent meal or a latte you won't soon forget!
I've had problems here before. I let it slide because I thought it was a cool place and I like to support Spanish eateries.
