K&G Moving Services totally came through for us when we were in a terrible bind. We had hired another local moving company to move us across town on Easter weekend. At 2pm on Saturday it became apparent that our mover was a 'no-show'. The next day was Easter Sunday and we had to be out of our rental house by Monday so a new tenant could move in. We began calling movers on a long-shot and K&G movers were amazing from the second they answered the phone - professional, sympathetic, and a can-do mentality.
I was, and am, blown away at what K&G Moving Services did for us and I wish them all the success they so richly deserve. Thank you K&G - we'll surely be calling you again when it is time to move. A+++++++
On short notice, I requested assistance moving my Mother's belongings from a two room assisted living apartment, to a single small bedroom & bath in a Memory Care facility. Betty responded with enthusiasm, and sure enough the next morning, three men showed up on time, willing to pack and do whatever it took to get the job done in the least amount of time. The men were pleasant, efficient and and took great care with everything. They were even kind enough to drop off the bedroom suit at a storage facility, the majority of belongings into my garage, and the remaining mattress setup, cabinets and chair at the last stop. Betty even stopped by to meet us. I would readily recommend them. I believe in supporting neighborhood businesses, especially family businesses when they have good work ethics and fair pricing -- like K & G Moving Services!
These guys packed and moved ten years of junk out of my dad's old live-aboard sailboat. They showed up on time, did exactly what I asked for in less than half the time they originally quoted, and offered helpful suggestions along the way. I was really impressed by their flexible, can-do attitude and honesty about the process and pricing. After coming by to assess the level of effort, they originally scheduled the work on a Friday to be completed on Saturday (packing and moving respectively), but they brought several competent guys and got it all done in something like four hours on Friday. Would definitely recommend them.
They showed up AFTER another move that day and moved our 3 bedroom house across town - they charged us their normal, reasonable rate - and maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire move. That is not just good business, that is a certain kind of people - and they are hard to find.
