Great park and well defined trails. Been here twice and I'm never dissapointed. Great place to take some pictures.
Nice place, nice bike trail, you can hear the train run on Saturday evening & morning...wear earplugs.. I did it's not real loud but kinda loud enough to wake you.
I went in the middle of August, and entered through Walton Rd on my mountain bike. Bad part is there is no shade. Sparse trees. So don't go during the heat of real hot days. Benches to rest are really spaced far apart. I saw a few herons and egrets, other than that not much really to see (a lot of the water was dried up despite the recent rains). On some of the trails, you will encounter sugar sand that is too soft to try to ride through. Other than that, it is a good place to walk or ride. The trails are clearly marked and mowed.
Relaxing campground atmosphere. Nice public dog park within the campground. Natural, unspoiled, scenery. Downside - no alcohol allowed.
