Often times it's easy to criticize police, but I feel safe knowing that the PSL police department is one of the best in the state. They've had leadership issues, but that hasn't affected the staff & their duties.
I've been in and out of the court systems since I received my license fourteen years ago. I just had one of the most positive experiences with the gentleman and lady at the front desk. The rest of the world would do well to model thier personnel and public relations department after the psl police department

I called on a welfare check for my elderly mother who was 89 years of age. They sent out two officers to check on her. I gave them authority to enter her home to check on her, They stayed with her until other family members arrived. They took control of the situation and worked with us to ensure all was well. As for as our family is concerned, we have nothing but high praise for the Port St Lucie Police Dept.
