Pretty good food! We sat at the outer part of the restaurant and it wasn't that busy so service was good. Would most likely eat there again.
I have been coming here for the last ten years and have never had a bad experience. Everything I've had on the menu has been good and having been raised in Texas I'm picky about Mexican food.. The wait staff are all efficient and polite. This is a family owned and operated business and the owner circulates constantly making sure everything is just right. They have a great happy hour with a free hot buffet. My favorite bartender, Jason, knows everyone's name and drinks and makes a great margarita. When your drink runs low and you look up for him he already has it in hand.
Been going to Zapata's for over 20 years. Best experience is for dinner. Service is good and the menu offers many choices.
Food was very good but pricey for the positions. I was in it was not busy there were 2 wait staff 1 seated me took my drink order then a party of 3 came in the same wait staff seated them took their drink order then brought my drink order out and the party of 3s drink order then the wait staff took their food order first. Then when my order was finally taken I order d NO guacamole. Received my order with guacamole sent it back had to wait for my food longer. I then had to ask for hot sauce "a Mexican restaurant without hot sauce on the table"? The wait staff was pleasant. I paid left a generous tip but needless to say I will not revisit this establishment.
The place is very clean and a nice environment though.
Good all around Place for family or friends. Prices are low , food is good. Staff is nice and owner. Is a great guy.
