We all deserve to be treated with respect. Any doctor that thinks its ok to verbally abuse his patients should not be in practice. Dr. Nguyen how would you like it if someone was disrespectful to your mother?
As for his staff, they are very sweet, friendly and professional, they treat you with respect and courtesy. I got lost trying to get there and was late and mortified that I wouldn't be able to see the doctor but not only did she calm me down when I called she gave me directions to get there, staying on the phone until I knew where I was going. I could see they were very busy but they fit me in. Everyone had a smile for me, taking the time to translate every word on my scripts ( Dr Nguyen got an A+ in medical writing class
Sometimes your going to have patients who are non complaint but that does not give you the right to disrespect them and their families.
This guy knows his stuff! I have been doing the opposite of what his recommendations are due to a previous Dr. I have been in pain for years. I was so afraid to go to another Dr. For this issue due to my awful passed experience. It has been 24 hours and I cannot believe the relief I already feel.....no surgery necessary as feared or torturous meathods as I had before. Thank you Dr! He tells it as it is. I appreciated that. Staff is fabulous also.
Im reading the reviews and I'm SHOCKED! I love that he is fast on his feet. He looked at all my labs and his staff is very friendly and helpful. IMO, I don't need a Doctor to hold my hand, just help me to help myself.
I really can't understand all the negative reviews. Dr Nguyen was pleasant and thorough, he took the time to go through all my medical records and believe me they were alot! 2 years worth of tests, surgeries and physicians' notes, he asked questions about them, my history and my symptoms; He even called the hospital where I had a recent cat scan and asked a radiologist to go over the results with him! I have never been to a doctor that was so thorough and I've been to quite a few, most of them good. My surgeon referred me to him and told me he was the best and he wasn't kidding. Dr Nguyen is no-nonsense and tells it like it is. To me those who complained about him were looking for a doctor that would coddle them, sugar-coat opinions and tell them what they want to hear. If you're looking for a professional that will look at the whole picture before making a decision AND give you the facts this is your man if not you better look elsewhere!
Had to file a complaint against Dr. Nguyen because of his terrible bedside manners. I have seen 5 star reviews saying that Dr. Nguyen is a great physician but in this case we're not going to wait around and find out.
I know this is a long review but I believe they are worth the time and effort it took to write it ( I follow the hunt-and-peck typing method and Google voice doesn't understand me)
He is a terrible doctor. Absolutely rude! He has no bedside manner whatsoever and his results are ridiculous. My results from my procedure were the epitome of stupidity. He claims that I had abdominal pain because of a poor diet, however NOT ONCE did he ever ask what my diet was! He has an uppity personality and his word is law attitude. He threw a fit when I did not finish drinking the "golightly", but yet I had two nurses tell me I was cleaned out. I saw the man maybe for twenty seconds if that and that is all I saw of him until my procedure two days later. The man had enough nerve to go after the two nurses that told me that I was fine for only drinking half the "golightly". But, in my opinion, it's the PATIENT that is the boss not the doctor. People like me make his paycheck! I would not recommend ever going to this doctor because he feels he is above his "job". And for those that would read other reviews about the "sugar-coating and coddling". It's true he doesn't; he obviously just doesn't know what he is doing and couldn't figure out my problem and pointed in a completely opposite direction of where my pain was. He blamed me for wasting his time and had ENOUGH NERVE to blame my "diet" problems on my husband! My diet if anyone cares is milk with cereal in the morning (Cheerios by the way) and usually a type of fish (salmon, etc ) or a piece of chicken breast with some type of vegetable (broccoli and sweet peppers or green beans) and dinner is pretty much the same as lunch, but with two sides of vegetables. I drink only water, tea, and juice. So I don't know how in God's green little earth he came up with I eat a "fatty diet". But NOT THAT HE ASKED what my diet was. And honestly, it is pretty sad that the other doctors and a bunch of nurses tell me to disregard everything he had to say.
