The "free visit" that Dr. Borrego offers is just a ploy to get you in the door so he can find other things to charge you for. After the exam, I was given an estimate for $650. to clean my dogs teeth. Really ?? $650.? She better have gold plated teeth for that amount. After our visit, we did some research and discovered that Dr. Borrego has the reputation of being cold, uncaring and very money hungry according to others. I always read the reviews for this reason. Wish I had read them before I wasted a trip there. In closing, Your pet is not priority here. Only your wallet.
The receptionist fails to understand that she is the face of the organization. Being the first person to interact with customers, she needs to be more mindful of the essentials of customer service. Because I can't accept her blatant disrespect of a paying customer, I absolutely refuse to place my pet in the hands of a veterinarian who condones such a ridiculously low level of professional from his employee.
